Wow. Okay. I'm really pushing myself with characters now. The new one? He's not innocent, he's not pure or good... Well, perhaps he is innocent, he's only acting as his nature dictates, like an animal. You don't call a dog cruel for killing a rabbit, and in a sense, this is the same with the Ganconer. But nevertheless, he's not good. Lets see how I go! * hopes she doesn't fail completely*

I want to introduce a whole swathe of wights to the Mansion. They introduce an element of danger to the place. I'm thinking about getting the Each Uisge, a waterhorse who sometimes appears as a man. He looks perfectly innocent until some unsuspecting person gets on his back, and then heads for the nearest water, drowning the rider who cannot get off. All that is found of the person afterwards is their liver, floating in the shallows.

Gruesome and fantastic.

Tomorrow? Horse-riding. Thank goodness that myths are only that XD

ETA: Perhaps a red-cap! They're nasty little buggers. Or a female version of the Ganconer, a Drowner, or Siren, or Mermaid, or *shuts up* I need to sleep.

Went to the Queen Vic market today. Gee that place is cool ^______^ We petted the baby farm animals that were in a pen. Piglets are cuuuute ^^ as are calves. Awww. And the hens were all fluffy and the goat had a mischeivous gleam in his eye XD

I also bought a needle-worked scene, it is gorgeously gorgeous, I love it. A couple of down sides, I didn't make it, and the people who did are chinese ladies sitting in a factory churning these things out. (The guy running the stall had photos of these ladies, which was a bit odd, I'm not sure what he was trying to prove, just that they weren't made by machine?)

Oh well, pretty picture. I'd take a photo, but I only have a camera phone and no way to transfer a phone-photo to teh internet. Sorry, I know you were all -dying- to see it.

Ah well. Too much rambling. Tomorrow? I get in contact with VACCA and the Australian defence force, all in the name of youth work. Should be fun! *crosses fingers*

I absolutely adore my new character!! He's awesome. And blind. And his name's Karal. Anyone who's read Mercedes Lackey will (hopefully) know him, and I need to pay my library fine so I can re-borrow the books. Haven't read them in about a year, so I'm flying by the seat of my pants in characterisation at the moment. But yes, he's adorable. I'm going to stop talking now, because I always feel a bit silly when I get carried away by my own pups. I feel as if I ought to do one of those 'ask my puppets anything' meme. Um. Alright, I'll do it anyway.

Ah crap. I ought to be at work, apparantly. I thought I started at 5, not three. Well, bollocks to them, I'm turning up at 5. Yay for me. I got confused when Debbie told me I was doing 5-12 again tomorrow night. Um. Whinge whinge.

Getting rid of characters is slightly sad, but also at the same time, extremely liberating, it means I can concentrate a lot more on the characters that I -do- play and want to learn more about.

I really ought to be doing this with my own characters in my own stories, but I find I don't write a lot of personality-based stuff, people are merely vehicles for the story, which is why I give them names like Bean and Silly. They're not real people, I don't go into their background, the reasoning behind their actions, they are plot devices. Yay for actually sitting down and writing this out, I feel I understand a bit more about my own style of writing now.

Okay, off to launch these characters off into the great unknown.

The heat! It is melting me! And I've been looking forward to summer all year, I'm not allowed to complain now that it is (already) here.

It would not be so bad if I were nearer to the beach, then I would swim every day. Perhaps I should rent a place on the coast for the summer, that would be lovely, and work at a supermarket there to pay for it. I could do that! Except I won't, because it's far too much hassle and I have things to do here.
